Nine miles east of the Natchez Trace Parkway on US 412 lies the small town of Hampshire, Tennessee. In the middle of town is the Hampshire Museum housed in a building that was originally the Hampshire Bank from 1911 to 1999 (the bank vault, safe and deposit boxes are still in the museum!).
The Hampshire Museum, opened in 1999, is a State of Tennessee chartered non-profit corporation with the purpose of educating the community through artifacts and photographs and to preserve the history and heritage of the Hampshire community and surrounding areas.
Admission: Free (donations accepted)
Hours Open: Thursday thru Saturday 10 am. - 3 p.m.
