Information for cyclists bicycling from the Natchez Trace to Isabella B&B - Port Gibson, MS.
Isabella B&B on historic Church Street in downtown Port Gibson is only a couple miles off the Natchez Trace Parkway (please see recommended bicycle route below). Two of the four guest rooms have two beds - so accommodations are ideal for couples and/or singles biking together.
Cyclists staying at Isabella could also bike the 32 mile Windsor Ruins Loop Route (7 miles on the Natchez Trace and 25 miles on country roads and thru Port Gibson), more info: click here

- Bicycle Storage: Bicycles can be stored inside the enclosed porch.
- Food: Guest are served a full southern breakfast. For dinner, there are various restaurants nearby - hosts can shuttle cyclists to restaurants.
- Tools: Innkeeper has tools that cyclists use.
- Laundry: Washer and dryer are available.

Isabella's Bed and Breakfast is located at 1009 Church Street (US 61) in Port Gibson. Guest parking is behind the B&B off of Chinquepin Street.
Car Route from the North:
- Exit the Natchez Trace Parkway at milepost 41 onto MS Hwy 18 and travel west.
- Turn left and head south onto US 61 which becomes Church Street.
- Isabella's will be on the left at the corner of Church and Chinquepin Streets.
Car Route from the South:
- Exit the Natchez Trace Parkway at milepost 37 onto US 61 and travel north.
- Travel two miles into town and US 61 becomes Church Street.
- Isabella's will be on the right at the corner of Church and Chinquepin Streets.
Cyclists: To avoid heavy traffic on US 61 and MS 18 cyclists can take the following route.
- Exit the parkway at milepost 39.2 at the Port Gibson District Office (Ranger/Maintenance Station) where the parkway goes over MS Hwy 547 (McComb Avenue). On the north side of the overpass walk your bikes off the parkway to the west and onto the ranger station driveway.
- Then walk your bikes around the south side of the building (don't go in the fenced in area).
- Then go back to the driveway which leads to McComb Avenue / Hwy 547.
- Then bike west on McComb Avenue to Bridewell Lane.
- Turn right onto Bridewell Lane and bike north past Wintergreen Cemetery.
- Turn left onto Chinquepin Street.
- Isabella B&B will be on the right at the corner of Church and Chinquepin Streets.
