Natchez Trace Parkway Earth Day Clean Up - Tupelo, Mississippi

On Earth Day April 22, 2023, the Natchez Trace Parkway is hosting a litter pick up at the Chickasaw Village Site and Blackland Prairie Trail - both in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Help us make the Natchez Trace Parkway greener, cleaner, and safer. Event volunteers will work alongside park staff to pick up litter alongside the roadways and parking lots.

Meet at 9am at the Parkway Visitor Center, located on the Parkway at milepost 266 on the north side of Tupelo, for orientation and check-in. The event will last for 3 hours. This event will be outdoors and thus weather dependent. Tools and safety gear will be provided. However, volunteers should wear sturdy footwear, dress for outdoor weather conditions, and bring water.
