The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to “Beak Knows Best." Join a park ranger on Saturday, October 15 at 2pm for this 45-minute program to learn how you can determine what a bird might eat just by looking at its beak.

Junior Rangers will discover how birds’ beaks are specially adapted to their environments through a short talk and a hands-on activity. This program will be held in the Tupelo Visitor Center Auditorium. Participants will receive a Junior Ranger badge after completing the program.

This program is ideal for children 6 to 12 years old but everyone is welcome. This is a free event.

The Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center is located at milepost 266 on the Natchez Trace Parkway, near Tupelo, Mississippi.
