Saturday July 15, 2017
Tupelo, Mississippi

The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to “Who Left That?” a Junior Ranger program to be held at the Parkway Visitor Center on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 10:00 am. Join a park ranger for this 45-minute program to learn the signs animals leave all along the Parkway. Make your own track molds to take home and see if they match any animal tracks in your backyard. Please be aware that the molds will take at least 1 hour to dry and will be made at the beginning of the program. This free hands-on program is ideal for children seven to 12 years old, but everyone is welcome.

Read with a Ranger is a 45-minute program that is most appropriate for ages six and under, but everyone is welcome. Participants will listen to a story, join in a fun activity, and go on an optional and easy half-mile hike. Read with a Ranger features a new story on the second Saturday of the month.

The Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center is located along the Parkway at milepost 266, just north of Tupelo, Mississippi.

For additional information, please call the visitor center at 662-680-4027, or 1-800-305-7417.
