Clinton, Mississippi's Caterpillar Parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 13th in coordination with Spring Into Green Market.

Anyone and everyone is invited to march in the parade, from parents with strollers and wagons to children on bikes. The parade is unique to Clinton and has gained renown throughout the Jackson Metro area and the state of Mississippi.

The parade begins with a reading of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" at Lions Club Park at 9:30am. After the reading of a "A Very Hungry Caterpillar," is the crowning of the 2024 Caterpillar Queen. Following the crowning of the Caterpillar Queen, participants will line up for the parade. The parade will be led by the grand marshal, golf cart floats, a marching band, and Calliope the Caterpillar!

At the conclusion of the parade, each child will receive a caterpillar chrysalis from Main Street at the Olde Towne Market.
