July 4th Family Fireworks Extravaganza - Clinton, Mississippi

On Thursday, July 4th, bring the entire family to Clinton’s Traceway Park to join the biggest and best Independence Day party in the area, the 30th Annual Family Fireworks Extravaganza.  Residents and visitors alike are invited to participate in a fun-filled evening of games and musical entertainment.

The City of Clinton’s official July Fourth Celebration is presented by Continental Tire. The event is FREE. Parking is $10 per car. The Children’s Fun Zone will provide inflatables, games and entertainment for Children. Kids ages 4 to 11 can enjoy the kid zone free of charge. Several vendors will be on site selling food and refreshments to attendees. Gates open at 4 p.m., and festivities begin at 5 p.m..

Bishop Gunn to Headline Annual July 4th Family Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Continental. Opening the event will be Hannah Belle. Bishop Gunn of Natchez, Mississippi, is rooted in the history and sounds of their home and the surrounding Delta, and features a blend of rock and roll, soul and blues. The best part of the night is the spectacular fireworks show (9:30pm).

There will be plenty of food and beverage vendors. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in our parks, and Traceway is a smoke-free facility. No pets allowed, and no glass bottle products allowed. Lawn chairs and blankets, however, are encouraged!
