COVID-19 Information about The Loveless Cafe

At the Loveless Cafe, our top priority is ensuring the health and safety of our community, guests and team members. In light of this, we are complying with the recommendation of Dr. Michael Caldwell, Metro’s Chief Medical Director and temporarily closing on Friday, March 20th, 2020. While we will miss seeing you at the Cafe, we hope to continue to provide a bit of comfort during these trying times through our Southern retail favorites, like preserves and biscuit mix. You can get a taste of the Loveless Cafe through our retail website, and we offer free local delivery to more than 40 zip codes.

You can also get a taste of the Loveless Cafe at the Biscuit Kitchen located inside the Natchez Trace Market next door to the Cafe. The Biscuit Kitchen features drive-through service where you can order some of your Loveless Cafe favorites, like biscuits, pulled pork sandwiches, hashbrown casserole and macaroni & cheese. The Biscuit Kitchen hours are 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Sunday.

We look forward to re-opening the doors of our historic Cafe as soon as possible.

The Loveless Cafe, located in southwest Nashville on Tennessee Highway 100 about 150 yards east of the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway, serves made from scratch southern cooking - including fried chicken, country ham, BBQ pulled pork, omelets, desserts and their world-famous biscuits.

The Loveless Cafe is named for Lon and Annie Loveless who began serving chicken and biscuits in 1951. Today, in addition to the restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner are several unique shops (originally were motel rooms) that surround the cafe and the Loveless Barn where events are held.

The Loveless Cafe is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Get a taste of the famous Loveless Cafe "on-the-go" at Biscuit Kitchen, located right next door to the original cafe inside the Natchez Trace Market gas station. A quick and easy option for scratch-made meals full of authentic Southern flavor, Biscuit Kitchen offers some of the most popular items from the Loveless Cafe menu – including BBQ pulled pork, fried chicken tenders, biscuits, and more!

Biscuit Kitchen offers counter service with limited indoor seating and a drive-thru window located around the backside of the gas station. There is also a pedestrian bridge that connects to the Loveless Cafe property, so grab your food to-go and enjoy it on one of the many picnic tables located around the property.

Biscuit Kitchen is open Monday – Saturday from 7am to 8pm and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
