Begin your visit to the Clinton Historic District with a stop at the Clinton Visitor Center. The Center is constructed with period materials and period architectural details including a porch and "dogtrot" and has the look and authentic charm of one of the 19th century farmhouses once located along the Natchez Trace. The museum room provides displays showing the history of the Natchez Trace in the Clinton area.

The consignment shop showcases the work of local artisans, with products that range from fine pottery to beautiful jewelry, from books by local and regional writers of note to high quality paintings and prints, from Natchez Trace memorabilia to delicious Mississippi food products.

The Clinton Visitor Center offers musical entertainment by local musicians most weekends (check out Friday Nights at Milepost 89) and exciting annual educational events for the community and the surrounding areas.

Stop in and pick up a map of the parkway.
