Nature Events held at Timberland Park located on the Natchez Trace Parkway at milepost 437.2 (just south of Hwy 96 and the Double Arch Bridge.

  • December 6: 9:30 am - Guided Hike
    Join park staff on a hike on our two mile loop out to the Big East Fork Reserve. Register for activity #16253
  • December 9: 10:00-11:00am - Snack with Santa

  • December 13: 2:30 pm - Mammal Pelts and Skulls
    Come and explore different mammal pelts and the skulls that go with them! Register for activity #16254
  • December 20: 2:00 pm - Beeswax Candle Making
    We will be learning about the life history of bees and then make some honeycomb candles that participants can take home with them. $2.00/person. Register for activity #16255
