Cumberland River Dragon Boat Festival - Nashville, Tennessee

On Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Riverfront Park, the 15th Annual Cumberland River Dragon Boat Festival is returning to downtown Nashville.

More than 40 teams of 20 paddlers/1 steerperson/1 drummer each will race each other in 46-foot-long authentic, Hong Kong-style Dragon Boats on the Cumberland River right in front of Nissan Stadium. 1,000 paddlers are expected to participate this year and fans can watch it all along the riverfront as they cheer on paddlers, support the water advocacy work of the Cumberland River Compact, and celebrate the event with cultural activities for the whole family. Organizations from across the city are participating and Nashville’s favorite food trucks will be in attendance to satisfy even the biggest appetite.
