My daughter and I started our Natchez Trace bike ride by spending the night at Hummingbird Haven. Unfortunately we were there less than 24 hours, but Daisy maDe a beautiful quiche (that we didn't even have time to try!) but they were gracious to shuttle us to the Trace to begin our journey and allowed us to keep a car there until we could pick it up a few days later!

My dad and I started our bicycling trip July 5th from Hummingbird Haven and ended our trip July 17th there. Daisy and Tony were extremely friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and charming. Daisy made a wonderful quiche for breakfast. Daisy also shared a delicious blueberry pie and ice cream with us!

We stayed at Hummingbird Haven for our honeymoon. We had a grrat time. There was food in the cabin for us to make. You could get vegetables from the gardens they have if you wanted. The atmosphere was amazing. There was no cell phone service, wifi, or tv. This made it so incredibly peaceful. There's a creek with a hammock that's just perfect. The front porch was our favorite part. We sat on the front porch every night and just relaxed or played cards. The location is between all these cities so there's an abundance of things to do. We went horseback riding at Terra Springs Ranch, visited Puckett's Grocery about every night, and we even walked the trails at Bowie National Park. This is an all around great place to be. We loved it so much. I would not be lying if I said, this is the most relaxed either of us had ever been in our lives. It was a great experience.
