If The Legends Fade
If The Legends Face
by Tom Hendrix
In northwest Alabama, Tom Hendrix has been building a stone wall for over 30 years in memory of his great-great-grandmother's Te-lah-nay. This book is about her improbable journey from Alabama to Oklahoma and back to Alabama. She and her sister were forced to leave Alabama as part of the "Trail of Tears". Then she escaped and traveled five years until she found her way back home in Alabama and her beloved "Singing River" (Tennessee River).
