Event Description:

Historic Downtown Franklin, Tennessee celebrates St. Patrick’s Day early on Saturday, March 13, 2010, with Féile Franklin.

Times: Festival noon-10pm; Irish beer and whiskey tasting 6pm-9pm
Location: Main Street & Public Square in Downtown Franklin

Pronounced “fay-la”, this Scots/Irish festival fills the streets of historic downtown Franklin. The festivities include Irish dance and music performances on Main Street; special Celtic vendors and craft exhibitionists; festival foods such as roasted potatoes, turkey legs, fish ‘n chips, and all things Irish; and activities for the children.

Free admission to the festival. Following the festival is an Irish beer tasting event at various locations on Main Street 6 - 9 p.m. Ticketed event for tastings in 20 shops.
