Tupelo Christmas Parade
Tupelo, Mississippi

Date of Event:

December 10, 2013

Event Description:

The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association (DTMSA) is thrilled to welcome the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales for a “nighttime Christmas parade”.  The 65th Annual Reed’s Tupelo Christmas Parade will be held Tuesday, December 10th in Downtown Tupelo.

The 2013 theme for the Christmas Parade will be “Twas The Night Before Christmas”.  Earlier this year, Council Woman Nettie Davis, was elected the Tupelo City Council President. She serves as the first woman and African American council president for Tupelo. DTMSA and Reed’s are proud to have her represent Tupelo and participate as the Grand Marshall in the 2013 Christmas Parade. “Reed’s is proud to honor a woman who has been a pioneer in Tupelo and plans to continue the progression of our city. In order to have the Clydesdales in the parade we felt the nighttime was the right time. This will be an exciting change for this year,” said Jack Reed, Jr.

The parade will begin at 6:30p.m.
